“We sampled the festive set menu yesterday with my parents and all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Really good food - including several gluten free options available which were much appreciated by one of the party - and friendly attentive service from the young waiting staff.

“A beautiful cafe in a stunning location next to the river Ouse. Sunday lunch was excellent but the food is always good whether it is breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and cake. We received a very warm welcome, and all the young staff were super friendly and efficient, a great team. Delicious Sunday lunch and very good value. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Lovely meal, nice surroundings and excellent food. We were staying at York Marina and booked a table for my wife’s birthday. We selected the fish sharing platter for two and it was great, beautifully prepared and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food and drinks came without delay and in good time. Overall highly recommended.”
