Welcome to The Waterfront Cafe at York Marina, where every visit promises a slice of riverside paradise. Nestled along the picturesque River Ouse, our cafe offers more than just a meal. It’s an experience. From the serene views of passing boats to the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, immerse yourself in the beauty of our surroundings.

Our Opening Hours

Sunday to Thursday – Open for drink 9am to 4:30pm

Friday & Saturday – Open for drinks 9am to 9:30pm

Breakfast – Everyday – 9am to 11:30pm

Lunch – Everyday – 12pm to 3:45pm

Dinner – Friday & Saturday – 5:30pm to 7:30pm (Dinner not served between 25th Dec and Valentine’s)

Afternoon Tea – Monday to Saturday – 2pm to 3:30pm (24 hours’ notice & 50% deposit required for afternoon tea)

“A beautiful cafe in a stunning location next to the river Ouse. Sunday lunch was excellent but the food is always good whether it is breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and cake. We received a very warm welcome, and all the young staff were super friendly and efficient, a great team. Delicious Sunday lunch and very good value. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Lovely meal, nice surroundings and excellent food. We were staying at York Marina and booked a table for my wife’s birthday. We selected the fish sharing platter for two and it was great, beautifully prepared and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food and drinks came without delay and in good time. Overall highly recommended.”
